We’re thrilled to share a very special music video with all of you this month! “Kid ar an Sliabh” or “Kid on the Mountain” is a Celtic gem arranged by Tim Janis as part of his new album and PBS Special CELTIC HEART, for which we are featured soloists! The special airs nationwide in 2020. Special thanks to Tim Janis and PBS for granting us permission to post this very special treat for all of you on YouTube! Featured soloists include the two of us along with legendary Irish artists Máiréad Nesbitt, Lynn Hilary, and Eimear McGeown. This PBS special was filmed back in April and we’re thrilled to be able to share this sneak peek music video with all of you! Let this brilliant song carry you away to the coast of Ireland!

Victory (Victoria), es el single debut del grupo bond, correspondiente al álbum debut de la banda, Born. Este single fue sacado de las listas clásicas del Reino Unido, ya que se lo consideró demasiado pop, para calificar como una canción clásica. El violín principal está inspirado en la apertura de «El Barbero de Sevilla» del compositor italiano Gioachino Antonio Rossini.
bond, es un cuarteto de cuerdas británico/australiano que interpreta crossovers clásicos. Los miembros de la banda son Tania Davis, primer violín, de Sydney, Australia; Eos Chater, segundo violín, de Cardiff, Gales; Elspeth Hanson, viola, de Londres, Inglaterra; y Gay-Yee Westerhoff, cello, de Hull, Inglaterra. Elspeth Hanson ingresó en el 2008 a la banda, en reemplazo de Haylie Ecker, quien fue primer violín del grupo, y es Haylie la que aparece en este video, dado que corresponde al concierto dado en el año 2001, en el Royal Albert Hall, situado en South Kensington, distrito de Kensington y Chelsea, en la Gran Londres, Inglaterra. bond se escribe con letra inicial minúscula, debido a que «Bond» y «BOND» son marcas registradas.
